Mandala Gardens are round in design and are used on small plots of land, usually with shallow or compacted soil. They can be farmed intensively and most farmers can produce crops from them all year round when managed well. They are usually found on a slope and will capture rainwater runoff in the centre, which is especially useful in the dry season. Their circular design makes them easier to move through, with no danger of stepping on the precious crops. A mixture of different vegetables is recommended for planting.

As a fellow farmer, who appreciates soil, cares for cows and is lucky enough not to go to bed hungry, I just love Send a Cow gifts.
